Darren,
As you know this is my first comment to your website, but I feel I must tell you green leafy vegetables will never be tasty! I agree w/ Misty they should be left off the menu. Even though as a nurse, I know how good they are for us. And that is all I have to say about Kale/spinach. I hope Misty is feeling better and the cough is responding to the muncinex, remember deep breathing is a good technique. Call anytime. You and your family are also in my thoughts. Eileen RN
Darren,
I’ve just heard of Misty’s passing on to God in heaven and as my tears flow and my heart aches for you and Olivia I find that I’m feeling a sense of peace and calm also. That was always Misty- beautiful, calm, and peaceful. I had the pleasure of working with her at Pier 1 and since then she has always been in my heart, for knowing her made me a better person.
Your blog is beautiful. I remember how excited Misty was when you two became engaged and then when she was getting ready to become your wife. I know God is there to help, support, and guide you. Please know that all those who were touched by Misty during her life will be honored to help you too in any way that we can.
God bless you- Pat Sumsky
Hi Darren,
I thought I left my message a while back, but anyway, I’m thinking often of sweet Misty. She was my role model as I go through this horrible jaw & throat disorder. What courage that gal had. I really want to talk with you. We’re still reeling here at Full Gospel. God sometimes gives us NO answers regarding great suffering. I can’t imagine how you must be feeling without her. We love you:
