wedding time
Yesterday was a rather eventful day in our world. We went to Misty’s uncle’s wedding and then went for a couple hours of the reception. It was a bit much for Misty, but she really wanted to go and she says that she enjoyed it.
It kinda feels like we fast forwarded about 60 years in life. I’m having to carry her up the stairs, hold her while walking around the house so she doesn’t fall, and 2 hours of sitting in a wheel chair at a reception is all she can handle. But thats ok with me. Honestly, even in our current state….I love having her around.
And today was nice as well. Misty’s parents and sister came by for dinner. Misty’s mom is usually around in the days anyway. I am on leave from work, but with Olivia around, it makes caring for Misty a bit more challenging.

I have been reading your web site every day and as I look at the pictures of your lovely family I say a prayer for you all. You know as well as I do that God’s hand is in this and through this you will all be drawn closer to Him. I pray He will lay His healing hands upon Misty and remove the cancer from her. I have also added you to our prayer chain at St Pauls UMC, Brick. I talked to Kathi Hillner (my granddaughter) yesterday and she filled me in on the status which is also reflected in you web page. Darren, I work right next to Herb Cort – and although he is Jewish he and I have agreed to pray for you all each in our own way. My God’s love continue to shine through you, Misty and Olivia.
Darren, Please share our love with Misty. Lisa and I will be praying for you both tomorrow, on Misty-Prayer day (Wednesdays). No coffee again for me. Silly sacrifice, but boy did it make me remember her, all day, last time. Very effective.
Our church has her on our prayer chain and I’ll remind them tomorrow to turn up the volume. God is listening.
Beautiful poses recently with Livi. She looks like a little angel. Can’t wait to meet her.
I’ve been fasting and praying for your family and Misty’s healing, and I just want to encourage you to remember that God is good, all the time. None of this makes much sense right now, but in His timing, we’ll get it.
My church here in Tallahassee is praying for her healing, and for your family as well.
God has a purpose in all of this, and through it He will be glorified and you will be blessed. Keep your focus high- you are loved. :o)
Thank you for the opportunity to serve Misty. I have you both in my heart and mind all my waking hours. Being in your home, well, I felt I was on Holy ground. Something that has helped me often……
The will of God will only take you where
the grace of God can keep you.
In Him,
Yvonne

Darren –
So many of us here at work are holding Misty, you, and Olivia up in our thoughts and prayers. I also have a number of good friends who are praying for Misty as well, for God’s healing, comfort, peace, and strength for you all.
