praying
I was a little choked up earlier this morning, but now I’m overcome by peace again still holding to faith in God. If somehow I am wrong about how the Bible says its God’s will to heal, then you may not hear from me again before our woman of faith meets her maker. In the human realm, her brain is not really functioning much at all and if it stops completely, she is pronounced dead.
BUT,
I do still believe it is God’s will to heal my Misty on this earth and we are at her bedside calling on God.
Still just typing from my phone (computer is down) so sorry so short. More details later. I’m going back to praying now.
Don’t be discouraged, this is the opportunity for the greatest glory given to God…when there is no getting around that it was a miracle. And in the midst of this, there is peace here. One of the nurses pointed out how there is a certain “peace” in Misty’s room. Yeah, there is. Amen.

I am still praying and believing!
Father, I thank You that Misty stands before You clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and that You love her just as You love Your Son. She is Your child with whom You are well-pleased. Father, I thank You that Your Spirit lives in Misty. You are not hindered by physical limitations from speaking to Misty, empowering her, encouraging her, being with her through what is imcomprehensible to me. I thank You for defeating sin, death, the grave, disease, & suffering by Your victorious death & resurrection. Thank You for dying for Misty, for rising for her. Thank You for bringing her to faith in You, and giving her eternal life. God, fill Misty & Darren with Your Spirit, keep them clinging to You in faith through this. Keep Darren glorifying You with a faith, hope & love that defies understanding.
Father, I thank You that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that You have prepared for Your children. Jesus, I can’t even imagine what it is like for Misty to go through what she is going through. But You are the Suffering Servant, and You know, and You are with her; You are in her; You are her ever-present help. I thank You for the new heavens and new earth that You are bring about. The new creation that You began with Your resurrection, and will complete on the day that You appear as this world’s true King & Lord. I thank You that on that day, You will redeem & glorify Misty’s body, and all of our bodies who are in You. I thank you that will make a new heavens and new earth, in which there is no sin, no suffering, no cancer, no death, no sorrow, no grief, no separation, forever. I thank You that You have promised that Misty will see Your glory, that everywhere she looks she will see Your glory, and she will experience happiness, joy, pleasure, and satisfaction like we can never even imagine now.
Father, what is happening now does not make sense to us. We ask that You would heal Misty’s body. That You would restore her to full health, and that she would live a long life as a mother & wife, and Your child doing Your kingdom-work in this world. We place her in Your hands. We know that You love her with an everlasting love, that You are well-pleased with her, and that You are doing and will do what is for her ultimate good and her ultimate joy.
Lord, teach us to pray for Misty. Pray through us for Misty, Holy Spirit. Jesus, keep interceding for Misty at the right hand of God. Father, continue working out Your plan for Your child, whom you knew before the world began, and whom You have promised to never leave, whom You saved by the death of Your only Son, and whom You have promised to share Your eternal glory with. Amen.

Life is eternal, but we want you to live on with us a little while longer, at least! Bless your heart! May God use this time to heal your body! I know that you are singing to Jesus in your precious mind right now, and we’ll sing for you on the outside. May you be used to glorify God through all of this. Be healed, be whole! God, our Father, Creator of the Universe, is in you! All of that power is touching you right now! If God chooses to heal you here or if He chooses to lift the veil of this life and bring you into His awesome presence, we will glorify him. We KNOW He can heal you, but even if He doesn’t, (and we believe He will–is!) we will still trust Him. He can be trusted. His arm is not too short or too weak to save! Open your mouth and proclaim His mighty works! Misty, my cousin, I love you and I miss you SO much! I want to see you at Olivia’s wedding! I may be selfish, but I want you HERE. God is using you HERE! But I can’t heal you, I am not in control, but God is. We KNOW that. I read all the time, but I’ve never left comments becasue I just don’t know what to say to encourage you…I feel so guilty because throughout this whole ordeal it’s been the two of you encouraging me…yours and Misty’s faith has really inspired me and I can feel a change beginning in me. I am ready to say out loud that I do truly believe that Misty WILL be healed and I can’t wait to see the look on the doctor’s faces when she rises up and walks out of that hospital all for the glory of God…i do really feel that He is removing all possibility that anyone could say anything but God has healed her. You and Misty have been and are in my prayers. I firmly believe that God heals, but God does not always cure. It took a tragedy with a loved one of mine for me to discover that healing, wholeness is most complete when we are everlastingly with God. Then we shall be rid of all that has been imperfect, painful, sad in this earthly, mortal life. God’s love for us extends beyond our scope of understanding. I pray God’s peace for you.

You said it simply. The Lord’s will to heal. Over and over, we are told everyone taken to Jesus was healed. There is not one exception. There are those who had to ask more than once, but if they persisted, He healed them.
This isn’t about earning healing, jumping through the right hoops, or anything religious. This is simple faith. Is God who He says He is?
The question isn’t what the doctors say. The question isn’t what the machines say. The question is:
Is God who He says He is?
Is He faithful?
Is He the healer?
Does He reward those who seek Him?
Is He all powerful?
Did Jesus defeat death and disease on the cross?
The answer is Yes and Amen over and over.
I know how things look right now, but I believe the same God that met Joshua outside Jericho is in that room with you right now, and His words to you are the same as they were to Joshua, “I’m here to take over. Do what I tell you to do to watch the enemy fall.” And what did Joshua have to do? Acknowledge it was God. Respect God’s holiness. Wait a bit. Shout for victory.
Darren, your beloved wife is healed in Jesus’ name. I command her to get up and walk and leave that mat behind. I call her forth from this death she is in to life.
Misty, mighty woman of God, come forth. Rise up and walk, child of the Almighty God. Speak forth your praises of the King. Dance and rejoice in your healing.
Father, we praise you for your healing. We praise you for the restoration of Misty’s mind and body. We shout glory to God in heaven for you have given her voice and clarity of words to her. You have only used this as a time of peace and rest before shooting her forward into the land promised her. We exalt you as the one who has healed her completely and called life forth in her, and we thank you for the life you are going to bring forth through her and her family.

All praise to God, The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our Merciful Father and the source of all comfort.
He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.
Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer.

We think you ought to know, dear brothers & sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.
And He did rescue us from mortal danger, and He will rescue us again.
We have placed our confidence in Him, and He will continue to rescue us.
And you are helping us by praying for us, Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.

Hi Darren, I hadn’t been able to visit the blog in a couple days. Ran into Michele Roberts at church today and said, “So, what’s the latest with Misty Leblanc?”. Her response was, “In ICU, on lifesupport, still have faith, still praying and still believing for a miracle”. I visited your site to read about the details. I too am praying for your sweet Misty. I too have the filter to “weed out clots”….Glad they chose to insert that for her, it will help with not letting clots get through. I’ve had one behind my left knee in 1998, not fun. Didn’t get the filter until 2006 when I had a clot in my lung. Miracles DO HAPPEN and I know the Lord is watching closely over your Misty. Do not be discouraged, KNOW that many are believing with you for Misty’s healing. Stay strong and believe. Love to you all. Heather in McKinney, TX.

today at church i was in the meeting not really paying attention (not good) so i started to pray for your family and misty, and my heart became very heavy and i started to doubt a little. All of the sudden God spoke to me most of the time i can’t tell if its him or just me thinking but this time it was clear he said “taylor don’t worry I’m healing her” i couldn’t do anything but smile and thank God.

Our God is awesome and He is faithful and true to His Word and I KNOW He is going to show Himself mighty in Misty. When the enemy trys to choke your faith with false reports, cast them down quickly and render them ineffective in Jesus name. When lying thoughts, dreams, or imaginations visit, take them captive and make them obedient to Jesus Christ. I can’t say it any better than Paul did in Philippians 4:

Such awesome prayers, truths, and declarations are being said over Misty. The power of life and death is in our tongues and we are speaking LIFE. Imagine the reiteration as it travels through the heavenlies.

When things look completely dark in the natural, God is still right there beside you. He will not let you down. DO NOT GIVE IN to the enemy’s lies. I have been struggling with weather or not to come up to the floor because I don’t want to intrude. I came the other night and sat in the lobby and prayed and prayed. I came tonight as well. Nancy and I prayed together over the phone and we both want to be there for you and your family but don’t want to get in the way. Please know that our hearts are with you and we are petitioning heaven on your behalf. I spent time just in worship and prayer I can’t sleep. I check the site a thousand times Nancy, George & Mel are praying too. The peace you have all been experincing in Misty’s room I have been experincing as well. I had such a peace in the lobby and I have even now here at home. I just want to praise God because I know he is doing things that our natural eye can not see. I love you. I want to be there for you guys just as you and Misty have been there countless times for my family and I.

I was listening to 99.1 yesterday and this song stuck out in my mind.

Our God can move mountains. The seas obey Him. The Earth trembles at His voice. He is so mighty and powerful!

Misty & Darren – though my words may be few for God knows the enormity of the prayers in my heart. Your family in my thoughts and prayers continually. For I still stand on HIS promise that “by HIS stripes, we are healed” God bless.

Wordless utterances are all I can muster up to our God for you and your bride. He knows our desires. He is good to His people. He is so endeared by you both.
This morning I sat on my deck and prayed.
At first, I asked for healing. Then I prayed verses of healing over Misty. Next, I declared verses promising Misty would declare the mighty works of God–His salvation, His healing, His goodness. Finally, I gave thanks–thanks for the manifestation of healing. Thanks for the faith that has been built up through this journey. Thanks for all the wondrous things God has done, is doing, and is going to do. I thanked Him for Misty’s ability to talk, walk, and think. I thanked Him for her ability to sing and raise her daughter. I thanked Him that He has eradicated the cancer, and it cannot come back.
Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.
Been storming heaven for you guys … everytime I woke up and in many moments over the day yesterday and this morning. Thought of you when I read this in my quiet time … Psalm 55:22 “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you, he will never let the righteous fall.” Darren and Misty have cast their cares on the Lord, He will sustain them and He will NEVER let His righteous ones, Darren and Misty, fall. He working His miraculous healing as I type. Love you and praying and anticipating with great excitement when I can hear all this story from Misty herself.
God is good…all the time! Praying for His will to be done & that He will be glorified.
Concerned and praying for you all this morning… that no matter what is happening there- challenging or the miracle of healing, that our Loving Father is wrapping each one of you in his arms, surrounding you with his comfort, the truth from his word, and the love of your families and friends. We are lifting you up constantly. We pray you continue to experience God’s peace and love in a mighty way. And may it radiate from Misty’s room in the ICU that all who pass by will feel it and lives will be changed. We are standing with you waiting and believing for Misty’s miracle.

Woke up several times last night, with Misty on my heart. Every time I’m reminded, I lift her up in prayers.
Nothing more to say, except that I’m still believing, and still praying. With GOD, there is always hope! This is what I cling too!
