Could you and your readers please remember this little girl who is going through her 2nd round of cancer. She is only 9 years old. I received this email from my mother yesterday regarding Cassidy…
“I just got a call from Linda. Cassidy will have to have a bone marrow transplant in January unless a miracle happens. They did a test on her marrow and if it comes back a certain way, they will use hers. Linda said it is called stem cell replacement. I don’t understand, but there is a higher rate of her surviving than if they use another persons marrow.”
