Darren LeBlanc

first speaking engagement in a while

I was asked to speak at Misty’s high school 10 yr reunion this weekend. This was the first speaking engagement I’ve taken since before she got really sick last year. I’ve turned a couple down, but this was the first I’ve actually done. It was nice, a bit rusty…but nice. You’ll see me out speaking much more in the coming months as AoH gains steam :)

    Darren;

    Great pictures of the reunion — it makes me sad that i couldn’t make it. I just listened to your talk and the words the Lord chose for you that night were powerful and perfectly matched for such an occasion — I’m sure all who were there walked away with something extra to think about and were blessed by your testimony. Darren, it’s obvious through those words and the blog you have kept, that the Lord has been growing you and molding you into what He wants…thank you for being faithful to Him…

    If that’s rusty, then I’d love to hear you on top of your game :)) Thanks for sharing the audio… I listend, I learned, I laughed, and I was encouraged.

    Ahhh I always forget that I found your blog through my cousin Jen whose boyfriend is Justin who is Rebekah’s brother! I saw her comment above and for a second did a double take! HI REBEKAH!! (We’ve never met but I feel like I know her!)

    That is so great about your speaking engagement — when are you going to do something up north??!!

    Darren,

    Thank you so much for speaking at our reunion! It meant a lot to me and I am sure that it meant a lot to the people who knew and loved Misty.
