Hi my name is Keneka, Friend to TAPHENESE and TORI BROWN.
and I wanted to leave you this comment. Our pastor, Pastor Brown always tells us that if we place the name of Jesus on what ever the circumstances are, example (Jehovah-Rophe – Healer – Isaiah 53:4,5), and believe, it will happen, because it is not us whose doing the healing but God himself. Keep strong in the Lord .

    Be Bless.

    Dear Darren and Misty,

Such a beautiful lady. I heard about you all from my friend Susan Gofourth who is a friend to one of your relatives. I cannot remember tho.

One of the greatest gifts God has given us is prayer. I’m sure you are aware of this. He cannot not only heal, he can comfort us through all things. I am a widow and completely depend on him. You are so young and yet I can feel your strength and it is so great and so strong. I pray for God’s comfort and great healing for Misty. I pray for his gift of strength to you and the beautiful baby. You and Misty are truly blessed.

Love to you all, Janet Figg Paxton, Indiana 47865

I heard about you on a forum, it was a request for prayer. I will be praying for you guys, and hopefully coming on here to check with the updates and what not. Your wife really is beautiful, and so is your child. I’m glad that through all of this you guys have stayed close to God. I admire your strength, and I pray that God grants you even more. Hopefully I’ll check in later.

Love and prayers to your entire family:
    Katelyn from Indiana.

    Darren and Misty,

We just wanted to let you know we are praying for you and your family. May God’s peace and love comfort you and fill you. May His presence overwhelm your household. We are bound together with you and many others in prayer. God bless you!

Philippians 4:7: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Darren-I’m pretty sure you don’t remember me, but I went to Calvary back in ‘97-99. I was in 7th and 8th grade at the time and remember you crashing my art class. :) I’m still friends with Corinne Carhuff, who filled me in on Misty’s condition. I wanted you to know that my heart and prayers are with you and your family. I have fallen away from the things I once held dear and am at a point where I am trying to get my life back together and re-focused on Christ. Hearing about Misty’s plight and the progess she’s been making has put into perspective the ridiculous things I’ve worried over. It has been one of many reminders lately of how much we need Jesus and the power of His amazing works. I pray that Misty continues to make progress and that God grants you and your family the strength to continue on this journey.

Jeremiah 29:11 has been a verse that has stuck with me and provides me some comfort when my life starts to feel out of control. I hope it can do the same for you.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
